THE DASH VENTURES
IN PUBLIC
Design, motion, experiments, good ideas, questionable ideas, and whatever comes next.
THE DASH VENTURES
A MOVING PRACTICE IN PUBLIC
A cinematic luxury product study using oversized X and O forms, a sculpted cosmetic bottle, pinned scroll choreography, reflective light sweeps, dimensional motion, and restrained editorial typography.
PURE FORM
A quiet study in balance, texture and ritual. Designed to feel considered before it is understood.
THE OBJECT BECOMES RITUAL.
Create a full-screen pinned infinite art table using a client’s image collection, where visitors can drag the canvas freely in any direction and the images continue moving with weighted momentum after release; recycle the cards seamlessly so the gallery has no visible beginning or end, make every card skew, rotate, stretch, and settle according to drag or scroll velocity, add elastic recovery, internal image parallax, subtle depth differences between cards, responsive 3D camera tilt, a custom cursor that changes shape with speed, a velocity meter, restrained editorial typography, viewfinder details, ambient light movement, and fine film grain so the finished section feels like a tactile cinematic installation rather than a conventional gallery or slider.
CURATED MOTION
Form loses control before returning to order.
EVERYTHING FALLS INTO PLACE.
“Break the Trajectory”
A clean red-and-black graph grows upward without crossing the typography. As the visitor scrolls, the axes disappear, the line accelerates toward the upper-right, and the message resolves into “Before you know it, you will be flying.” A large pulsing instruction makes the drag interaction unmistakable. When the visitor clicks and drags, the graph physically breaks apart, a thick dripping X-eyed smiley appears, and realistic yellow-orange wax pours from the top using your transparent artwork, animated drips, glossy highlights, depth, and neon-yellow light.
